Walcote (sleeps 7) – Perfect family seaside house, Sheringham


Walcote is an elegant semi detached period house in Sheringham. Owned by Sara and her family, it is a much loved family holiday home. It is situated just a short walk to the long sandy beach, prom and all the town’s amenities.  It still retains many period features including an original tiled floor, stripped pine doors and a beautiful fireplace (decorative)  

Sleeping 7 it provides an excellent family holiday home in Sheringham complete with a pretty enclosed courtyard style garden, great for relaxing in the evenings.  The owners have used many vintage piece of furniture to create a truly homely and comfortable home from home, with lots of extras to give you the perfect relaxing holiday.

Elegant and perfecting positioned in the centre the town, close to all the amenities and beach.

Could not have asked for more, perfect house, perfect position and a very comfortable bed!  Thank you!


Entrance through rear door to Kitchen:

Kitchen:  Pretty and extremely well equipped kitchen, to include a cooker with ceramic hob, grill and oven, microwave, toaster, washing machine and fridge freezer. Plenty of crockery and pots and pans.

Dining Room:  Spacious room perfect for playing board games around the table.  

Sitting Room: Comfortable corner style sofa, beautiful original period fire place (decorative only) TV with DVD player.  Coffee table and side lamps.

Hallway with hooks for coats and plenty of storage for boots and shoes.

Stairs to First Floor

Bedroom 1:  Vintaged styled bedroom with period furniture and bed.  Pine wash stand, large wardrobe.  Useful basin with mirror over.  Chest of drawers.

Bedroom 2:  Single bedded room with vintage dressing table and chair.  

Bathroom:  With bath and shower over, basin. WC

WC:  Separate WC

Stairs to Second Floor:

Bedroom 3: Romantic and pretty bedroom with white iron bedstead, chest drawers and Italian styled glass mirror.  View to side towards the sea.

Bedroom 4:  Great room for children with two single beds, hanging rack, side tables and lamps.  

Outside:  Walcote has the great advantage of having a fully enclosed courtyard styled garden to the rear which provides a super private area for relaxing, al fresco dining or a nice evening drink!  There is no allocated parking with this property but street parking is available outside and in the adjoining street, on a first come basis.  Alternatively guests can purchase a weekly permit to the close by council car park (Please enquire)  Walcote is just a few yards from the sea front and all the amenities of the town.
