- Georgian wing of Gunthorpe Hall
Wing House is part of the magnificent Gunthorpe Hall. As it’s name suggests this is the older, Georgian wing of the hall. It has it’s own entrance and enjoys a private garden area with terrace, borders and lawns. You can also walk through the Main Hall gardens down past the lake and to the village through woodland via the front drive. The accommodation is light and airy with wonderful, original, sash windows complete with their original shutters. These afford beautiful views over the gardens.
For Wing House you will arrive in the yellow courtyard at the rear of the Hall where you can park directly outside the Wing House front door. Once inside the retained old details of the building and vistas through the window allow the imagination to wander back in history, with the addition of modern comforts.
Wing House sleeps up to 11 in four bedrooms, listed below. One is on the ground floor next to the shower room All the rooms have interesting furnishings and object d’art to entertain you. All the original features are retained giving you a real sense of the period in which the house was built. More information on the Hall and Wing House can be found on our dedicated page Gunthorpe Hall
