Wing House (sleeps 11) – Georgian Country House

Wing House is part of the magnificent Gunthorpe Hall.  As it’s name suggests this is the older, Georgian wing of the hall.  It has it’s own entrance and enjoys the gardens and fishing lake the same as the Hall.  The accommodation is light and airy due to the wonderful, original, huge sash windows complete with their massive shutters.  These afford beautiful views over the gardens.

As you arrive you will drive up the pretty driveway to the Hall and be able to park right outside the door to unpack your car.  It is hard to describe the feeling knowing you are going to be staying in part of such an historic building and will be able to wander freely over the gardens and estate.

Wing House sleeps up to 11 in four bedrooms, one on the ground floor.  All the rooms have original and interesting furnishings and object d’art for you to wonder about.  All the original features are retained giving you a real sense of the period in which the house was built.  More information on the Hall and Wing House can be found on our dedicated page Gunthorpe Hall
